Dans le cadre des Rendez-Vous du Vendredi, j’interviendrai le 22 mars prochain à 20h30 au Photo Forum de Metz pour parler des archives de Robert Mapplethorpe. Ma présentation portera sur son oeuvre de jeunesse et sur ce que cette documentation nous apprend concernant l’histoire de la photographie.
As part of the Rendez-Vous du Vendredi program, I’ll be presenting a paper on Robert Mapplethorpe’s Archive at Photo Forum Metz on March 22 (20h30). My presentation will deal with his early work and address what one learns about photography history when working with the artist’s archival material.
